PROFESSIONAL ETHICS IN THE INFORMATION FIELD: BUSINESS COMMUNICATION PRINCIPLES

Abstract

This article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the principles of professional ethics in the information sphere in the context of digitalization and active implementation of information technologies in the activities of public authorities, business structures and organizations of various forms of ownership. The authors reveal the essence of business communication as a key tool for effective interaction between public administration entities, employees and stakeholders, which ensures the consistency of management decisions, increasing trust and effectiveness of organizations. The current ethical challenges caused by the use of modern information technologies were analyzed, primarily the problems of personal data protection and ensuring the right to privacy, the use of artificial intelligence and the risks of algorithmic bias, automation of management processes and possible socio-economic consequences, digital control in labor relations, as well as the impact of the IT sphere on the environment. The need to adhere to the principles of transparency, accountability, confidentiality and responsible use of digital technologies in the public administration system is substantiated. The authors have identified the main types of ethics in business communications, namely: professional, corporate, social, personal and cultural, and have determined their role in the formation of institutional trust, positive reputation and sustainable development of organizations. Particular attention is paid to ethical leadership as an important factor of good governance, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal norms, the formation of a culture of responsibility and the prevention of conflicts in the digital environment. A positive point is that the authors also give practical recommendations for the implementation of ethical standards and control mechanisms in the system of business communication, which will contribute to increasing the efficiency of management processes and strengthening trust in the public sphere.
