Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the basic principles and specifics of interrogation in the investigation of illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives. The main task of the interrogation is to obtain and record testimony from persons who are participants in criminal proceedings or who are aware of circumstances related to the preparation, commission or concealment of a crime, which are important for the investigation. The stages of interrogation are considered, which include the organizational and preparatory, working and final stages. At each stage, it is important to carry out a set of measures in order to successfully conduct this SRD and obtain complete and detailed information about the committed illegal act from the interrogated person. It is noted that the tactical methods of interrogation developed in criminology are aimed at establishing communication between the investigator and the interrogated, establishing psychological contact, as well as obtaining the most accurate information and preserving its objectivity. Tactical techniques that are advisable to use in conflict situations are defined. When interrogating a criminal, the investigator must use such tactical interrogation techniques that can create a person's perception of the investigator's awareness of the circumstances of the crime, the inevitability of punishment, and the presence of sufficient evidence confirming his guilt in the illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives. For this, physical evidence is presented and statements of other participants in the criminal proceedings are read, tension is created and the tempo of the interrogation changes, the investigator provides the criminal with information about the further development of the investigation and offers to give a statement in his own hand, after which he asks clarifying questions. It is noted that in non-conflict situations there are difficulties in interrogating persons when the latter make mistakes, exaggerate the importance of certain events or cannot provide objective information relevant to the investigation. In this case, tactical techniques aimed at activating the memory of the interrogated person, detailing the testimony and asking clarifying questions, using physical evidence and testimony of other participants in the criminal proceedings are used.
