Abstract

Achieving the strategic goals of the development of municipal education in conditions of limited financial, personnel and other resources is impossible without the effective interaction of local authorities, the business community and the population living on its territory. In this regard, the introduction of new management mechanisms based on partnership relations should become one of the priorities of social and economic policy. The article examines the forms of social activity of domestic companies in the field of corporate responsibility in the territories of their presence. The article notes that the lowest level of management, where the social interests of companies and local communities intersect, has a high potential for social activity of companies for the benefit of society. The article proposes measures to improve the interaction of government and business, including: development of a concept in the field of corporate social responsibility at the regional level and the creation of public councils for the development of territories. It was also noted that in order to revitalize the interaction between business and local authorities, it is advisable to introduce the institution of municipal-private partnership in Ukraine, which appears as a form of optimizing the performance of municipal authorities' functions and the effective provision of public goods to the population. At the same time, the potential of business is being realized while preserving control of the municipality in socially significant sectors of the economy.
